The second installment of the Friday Night Flights Running Series was held at the Hill City track on August 15th.  Wet and muddy track conditions challenged runners who competed in  flights under the lights at Ranger Field. 

The sloppy track didn't stop Sioux Falls' Bret Fransen from running the fastest 2 mile ever on Hill City's track, however, as Fransen clocked 9:59.8 for the full 2 miles. 

Winning the Women's Open 2 Mile was Bailey Eich of Rapid City , who clocked 13:18.8. 

The top Master's runner was Richard Campbell of Newcastle, WY, who finished in 15:14.8.
